Congres Mondial in the Nova Scotia area is a great deal of fun while we are simultaneously learning about the cajun life and the Acadians' difficulty prior to being expelled to all over the world by the British in 1755, the "Grande Estrangement." There are also many opportunities to visit other nearby locations such as the church at Grande Pre' and the burial sites of families who lived in Acadie.
